Roof Design
We can provide you with all of the components needed for your cottage roof system, including curved eave shingles, curved gable shingles, curved ridge shingles, and 'Up's and 'Downs' for the hip and valley areas. We can estimate the quantities needed from plan or from your existing home. If you are looking for installation help, we can certainly provide this as well. Depending upon the scale and location of your project, it may and sometimes may not be cost effective for us to provide installation. Keep in mind however, since we specialize in custom work, we are familiar with all types of custom applications. Because of this, we know the ins and outs of many custom roofs, allowing us to be very efficient in our bidding and installation. We can often combine travel with nearby projects, and are competitive in our work. We do also provide consultation upon request. Design Examples:
Our shingles can be purchased as untreated, CCA treated (mold and mildew resistance), fire-treated, or pre-stained for color. In addition to the treatment, our shingles can be cut to many of our available Fancy-Cutt™ profiles, or per your own custom template.
CCA Treatment is a long term protection from fungal decay is provided with factory pressure-impregnation treatment of preservatives that will extend the life of cedar shake and shingle roofs. Recommended Use: On roofs in areas where humidity, dampness and/or shade is a concern.
Certi-Guard™ (Fire Treated) shingles are pressure-Impregnated, Fire-Retardant Treated Shakes and Shingles. Certi-label™ shake and shingle roofs are available in Class A, B and C roofing systems.

Order Information:
There is a minimum order requirement for some of our products. For curved Cedar shingle orders, the minimum quantity requirement is just one (1) box. For Fancy-Cutt shingles, the minimum order is five (5) boxes. Depending upon current inventory, our minimum order for Wallaba and Teak shingles is generally 2,500 SF. Please contact us for additional details.
